Alloplant for sponge-autolymphosorption is made out of the spongy biomaterial («sponge»). Due to the microporous structure it possesses high absorbing activity. When introduced over the vascular episcleral flap into the suprachoroid space it furthers the suprachoroid fluid purification.
It is used in the surgical treatment of thromboses, hemophthalmos, chorioretinitis, «wet»-forms dystrophies, uveitis, proliferative-vitreoretinal syndrome.
