Alloplant for conjunctivoplasty
This transplant is produced in the form of the membrane and is designed for the eyeball conjunctiva and eyelids defects replacement (in the limits of the cartilage), except the conjunctival fornices. The advantages of this alloplant are the ability to replace the conjunctiva defects of any size, surgical manipulation convenience, good engraftment and long-term clinical and favourable cosmetic effect. In 1-2 months in the place of the alloplant the conjunctiva is being formed which doesn’t differ from the surrounding tissues.
This transplant is used in the surgery of symblepharons, tumors, pterigiums and other conjunctiva pathologies.
It is produced of two types:
